Hey look! My hair looks different. A spontaneous trip to the salon resulted into a Lydia Deetz/ Mia Wallace/ Tavi Gevinson kind of hair. You be the judge. Not really what I had in mind when I set foot in the Index Salon branch near my place, but it was the only thing I could think of to save my hair from the horror the gay stylist has bestowed upon it. FULL BANGS. Effing hell. I can already hear the lady gaga jokes coming my way.

Pictured: Mia Wallace from the movie Pulp Fiction, Lydia Deetz from the movie Beetlejuice and blogger Tavi Gevinson.

Awesome people who kind of, JUST KIND OF, resembles my hair. Although, Tavi is blonde. Lydia deetz is my long lost twin, seriously. I absolutely adore her character. Anyway, school will start on the 13th! Are you guys excited? or dreading it just like me?

Because it’s raining and my plan to watch Snow White and Huntsman was canceled yet again, I found time to finally finish editing the photos from my trip to Baguio. Which was in April pa! Photos are from my second day there, following the events of this post. After tree top adventure, we decided to eat at good taste for a late lunch.

The place was packed! We had to wait for an hour for our food but it was totally worth it. No wonder the place was so full, the food was cheap and delicious too.

After lunch we headed to Wright park (thanks innogabriele!) where you can ride horses with neon pink hair! I have no pictures of said horses because we were too busy taking pictures with our Igorot costumes. At first, it was only Ate Annjhay and me but then the whole family joined in. haha

What a funny looking bunch we make! The Mansion was our next stop. Obligatory photo at the gate.

Last place we went to was Mines View Park. I have no idea why people go there. There was barely room to walk in. The vendors were taking up all the space. The view wasn’t that great, full of houses and buildings. My mom said it didn’t use to be like that.

Well , that’s day two for you!

I am currently consuming chocolate ice cream. My dad’s way of saying “Sorry I didn’t let you watch Snow white and the huntsman today so here’s a bucket of chocolate goodness. Now stop acting like a petulant child, you can still watch it tomorrow.”

I am in a much better place now than before. Chocolate is the solution to everything! Well, for me anyway. In other news, the officers of CLICKERSPH was announced today and surprise surprise I’m in it. Thanks again to the P&S Queens: Misha and Mari (I haven’t finished my drawing of you! forgive me.) I was bound to secrecy so I wasn’t able to spill the beans just yet. Congratulations to the other officers!

I’m currently hunched over my laptop typing this. Dark shadows of angst looming over me while Anya Marina’s Satellite Heart is playing on repeat. Earlier this afternoon my mom called asking about my plans for the day, which I had to cancel all thanks to her. I was using my I-really-hate-you-right-now-and-I-hope-it’s-obvious voice. Now, I feel so shitty for using that voice on her. My dad called a little later, asking the same thing but I didn’t have the guts to use my I-really-hate-you-right-now-and-I-hope-it’s-obvious voice on him. I hate having to hate my parents but they made me miss the premiere of SNOW WHITE AND HUNTSMAN!  Yes, I’m being all doom and gloom right now just because of a movie that they didn’t let me see. How very spoiled brat of me.

The weather isn’t helping much with my mood. I think a bucket of ice cream is in order!

Today I woke up around three in the afternoon and almost missed the sun entirely. I was never much of a morning person to begin with but 3pm just sounds ridiculous to me. School is about to start in a few weeks and I really should start working on my fucked up sleeping habits. Speaking of school, I already bought new school stuff. I swear I wasn’t this much of a girly-girl before but following people here on tumblr who are tends to rub off on you.

I didn’t use flash here. Normally I would but the lace detail tends to disappear.

Mint and Pink pens!

My uber cutie patootie pencil case. I know I’m too old for this, even my dad told me so but it’s so cute and it’s in one of my favorite colors.

Pastel notebooks.

And I bought a hair mousse from Watson.

I haven’t bought a new bag yet. My dear mother is convince that I already own too much bags and that I could just re-use them again this school year. Well, I was okay with that but then I saw this at Clippers and…PICTURE IS NOT MINE. Oh how I wish you are mine. I’m gonna tell my mom all about you and will do everything to own you. I swear! I still have this weekend to formulate a plan.

You will be mine!!! pink, sparkle-y, spike-y bag!

I tagged along with my dad yesterday to Astrovision to look for a Neil Diamond album. Actually, my dad did all the looking, I was too busy sifting through the “on sale” pile to give him much help. I got lucky and scored two movies! Fanboys for 75 and Where the wild things are for ₱100. My download of Where the wild things are was taking so darn long and so i just opted to buying an original copy.

Not a lot of people know this but, I absolutely love Star Wars! And so when I saw this movie with a Darth Vader mask on the cover, I immediately let out a squeal of delight and took it out off the shelf. it’s a movie about Star Wars fans made by Star Wars fans for Star Wars fans. There isn’t anything spectacular about it but if you love Star Wars, you will find it relatable. I also love the level of geeky-ness packed in this film. The quizzes, action figures, costumes, the rivalry with the trekkies. I wish the people here in the Philippines were as enthusiastic as the fans in the movie.

Storyline: It’s 1998 and Star Wars fanboys across the globe eagerly await the release of Episode I. But for Eric, Linus, Hutch and Windows (cool name!), the term “fanboy” is more than just a title, it’s a badge of honor. To honor the wishes of their dying friend, some die hard Star Wars fans set out on a cross-country road trip to George Lucas’ famous Skywalker Ranch. There, they intend to treat their pal to a screening of the movie series latest installment before it’s official release.

I haven’t seen this one yet but I’m planning to watch it soon. It’a a film adaptation of Maurice Sendak’s celebrated classic exploring the joyous and wild rumpus of the time and place we call childhood.

Story line:Nine-year-old Max runs away from and sails across the sea to become king of a wondrous realm of gigantic fuzzy monsters-but being king may not be as carefree as it looks!

Went to the mall today to buy school materials for the incoming school year. I can’t believe I’m a senior now. I can’t wait to say sayonara to high school!
My Cardigan is actually more coral-ish than red in person.
